It lives!
I hope \/^_^ V for victory after I managed to get it to play ball long enough to enter the BIOS and hit the "It Cannot Possibly Fuck Up" button. I believe it was this APIC mode or something that I had to enable to make the (rubbish) Windows XP 64 work. I would advise leaving it well alone, because it may be responsible for major problems and also it doesn't support the standard modem given out with broadband connections in the UK. Hence you would be fairly knackered with it unless you shell out for a hardware router/modem solution.
Back to the point of the blog, I've been unable to update with the last two dreams I remember. One was a World Of Warcraft one and I believe I was adventuring alongside my teacher's avatar. It had his name so I assume it was him. The second was another Tesco dream, which should be getting obvious to me. I've been creating a reality spam technique using the tills at work which prompt you every 15 minutes to enter the number of people queueing. Every time one comes up, I do a reality check. So far no luck yet but I'm hoping it will show up in one of my dreams and lucidity can be achieved. The odd thing about my Tesco dreams is they are utterly normal and boring. Also it's rare for me to be in the first person in a dream. I'm often in the third person or not there at all which sucks as I'm watching and there is the nagging "Something is wrong here" feeling but I have no form with which to act upon it. I've had one lucid realisation in the disembodied state, following myself around when I saw that there were two of a family member. It twigged it off and I realised, my body is there, I'm here! So in some sort of attempt to join the two together and complete the lucid bit, I flew headlong at my body, impacted and woke up. That's life huh?Uggh so much work this weekend it's not even funny.
